The Best and Worst of OKC

Recently I made the trip to Ardmore to see my mom for Christmas. After spending some time catching up and opening gifts, we went and had lunch a little place my mom had been telling me about for quite sometime, Two Frogs. I honestly did not know what to expect with a name like Two Frogs, not to mention that the sign features two frogs tied up to each other. I had my doubts. However, after stepping through the door my concerns immediately faded away. The moment I walked through the door the aroma of the food that was being prepared was heavenly. As we walked through the restaurant to be seated I could not help but notice the scrumptious looking plates of food that were on each table and booth that I passed. Once we were seated I had to take a moment to examine the décor. The walls were lined with guitars that were autographed by some great names in blues music. I made an attempt to count them, but lost track after twenty, there was just so much to take in. The menu at Two Frogs is filled with southern dishes, seafood, fish, steaks and much more. I personally ordered the chicken fried steak; I can only tell you that it was amazing. One of the best I have ever had, and trust me I have had my share of chicken fried steak dinners over the years. We also shared appetizers, fried mushrooms and fried zucchini, they too were absolutely amazing. I realize it is selfish, but I have to say I wish Two Frogs was located in Oklahoma City instead of Ardmore. That way I would not have to drive so far to once again experience such great food, listen to blues music and admire the vast collection of guitars that are so proudly displayed the walls along with all of the other great blues memorabilia that can be found at Two Frogs.
